Stella is 1

Stella's Wagon

Stella's Cake and Spaghetti

WOW it's been a long time!

So it's been a really long time since I have updated our blog...I suck! So very quickly, here's what has happened: I turned 26, found out I was pregnant again, and Stella turned 1.

My birthday was good. We had a wonderful dinner of pizza and then we watched "Mama Mia". (Well my mom and I watched the movie atleast!) The next day we went to Holland, MI to spend the day at the beach and exploring the town. the following day (Sunday) was when I decided to be an adult and take a pregnancy test. I really thought that I was just going to have to see a doctor again for my irregular cycles but...nope. I was just pregnant! Who knew?! I am now 7 weeks 5 days. 3 days later was Stella's 1st birthday!

Stella had a wonderful birthday. We had spaghetti (her favorite) for dinner and an icecream cake for dessert. As you can see, she loved the spaghetti but wasn't too sure about the cake! Her big present from Mommy and Daddy was a wagon...which she loves.
(So it's not letting me put the pictures where I want so I will post them by themselves.)

Fourth of July at Lake Michigan

We spent the 4th in St. Joseph, MI. Stella loved being in the water though Jason and I thought it was freezing! It was really odd because it truly looks and feels like you are at the ocean but there's no salt or jelly fish or sharks! St. Joe is a beautiful town. I can see us spending a lot of time there over the summers in the future.

Stella's New Teeth

So Stella is getting all of her teeth at the same time...seriously! She has the 2 front bottom ones. The top right incisor (so she sort of looks like a bulldog now). And the other incisor and both front teeth on the top are all braking the skin now! It is tons of fun at our house now...

Our New Home

So we are in Kalamazoo now and so far we love it. This city is absolutely beautiful and has so much to offer. Jason has found his heaven...it's called "Fanfare". An enormous comic book store and could suck him in for days. Stella and I have been unboxing our stuff and trying to get some sort of normalness...normalcy...normal something back in our lives. We have been exploring some of the local parks (will post pictures later). We are still on the search for a new church and a new dance studio but I know those will all come in time. We are excited about the new journey we have started but really wish our house in Tennessee would sell already! Anyone in the market for a new house?
